Project SHARE helps kick off the holiday season in the City of Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade!

Project SHARE was thrilled to be able to be part of the Santa Claus Parade in Niagara Falls on Saturday, November 13. Rotary club member, and Project SHARE fundraising events coordinator Lauren Lewitzky led the team down the streets of Niagara Falls as they collected monetary and food donations for those living below the poverty line in Niagara Falls. They collected over $1,000 in monetary donations and 230 lbs of food.

"It was wonderful to see all of the local support who came out for the parade and supported Project SHARE," says Lewitzky, "it is from community support and events like this that we are able to keep providing 17 emergency services, including our Christmas Program that helps over 3,800 individuals have a holiday meal and toys for their children for the holidays.  We are working hard to ensure none of our friends go hungry this holiday season and cannot do it without the communities support."
